IANTO JONES.

The first one to approach Kate when she arrived to the island, Ianto has become the person she is closest to. They believed they were married during a curse, but the after it was over the emotions that remained were genuine, and they eventually fell in love.

JACK HARKNESS.

Sweeping in to save her when Ianto was in the forest, Kate immediately fell for Jack. They are similar in many ways and while their relationship is often volatile, he is an essential part of her life and equal to Ianto in her eyes. She is deeply in love with him and refuses to accept her life on the island without him.

BO DENNIS.

Although they began as merely acquaintances, Bo and Kate were possessed by the ghosts of lovers and ended up having a short-lived affair. Not wanting to ignore their intimacy, Kate and Bo have become close friends, although the emotions between them are often complicated and Kate is still struggling to figure out exactly where Bo fits in her life.

KENZI.

Kate's pretty sure that Kenzi is insane. But she's got fire and personality and Kate can respect that, even though that tenacity wound up with Kate modeling somewhat questionable cosplay at a party. At least Kenzi didn't put her in spandex. Since leaving the island and then returning, Kate and Kenzi have connected even more, especially because they have their own "secret" language by speaking half-English and half-Russian to each other.

VEX.
staycalmandobey // lost girl.

Kate knows Vex's history with Bo, and in result of it, is less than his biggest fan. She does her best to antagonize him when she gets the opportunity, and isn't above threatening or arresting him to keep him in line.

MARY WINCHESTER.

While things were tense in regards to John Winchester when Mary and Kate first met, the situation has seemed to mellow. They are not particularly close but do remain friendly to one another.

JOHN WINCHESTER.

They didn't get off on the right foot when John might have implied that Kate would have to be a little loose with his morals in order to stay afloat on the island. His conflicts with Mary didn't exactly work to build faith in him on Kate's part; however, they have reached something of a mutual understanding.

DEAN WINCHESTER.

After winning her in a date auction, Dean took Kate on a date that went from fancy restaurant to bar and Kate was fine with that. She likes him well enough, although they aren't particularly close.

JULIAN BASHIR.
julian_bashir // star trek: deep space nine.

Kate's handsome doctor, Julian isn't exactly on Kate's radar in terms of personal relationships and she hasn't slept with him - yet. She gets the impression he's a flirty playboy, but he has a good enough bedside manner for her taste, and he always seems to be looking out for her best interests.

TYRION LANNISTER.

Kate found herself bound to Tyrion during a curse after a huge fight with Jack. Feeling alone, Tyrion offered friendship and kindness. They became good friends after that, and Kate finds it very easy to open up to Tyrion.

RAYLAN GIVENS.

Kate's right hand man at the precinct, Raylan helps her run the police. Since Kate isn't particularly outgoing, Raylan often serves as the "face" of the collard police, helping to recruit and keep an eye on the civilians.

BOYD CROWDER.
boyd_crowder // justified.

After he blew up the temple, Boyd served his time and is now under Kate's watch as a parolee. While encouraging his integration back into island life, an attraction was developed between them which they eventually acted on after she went home for a year.

SARAH PALMER.

One of the patrol officers, Palmer was recruited by Beckett and they have hit it off really well. Beckett finds her efficient and easy to work with, and she also gives Beckett a run for her money during sparring matches.

FDR FOSTER.
littletrexhands // this means war.

Spunky and obnoxious, FDR has a personality that reminds Kate of a certain writer she knows back at home. Although she shot down his advances, they ended up sleeping together eventually. While she still thinks he is a jackass, FDR has also opened up to her in a way that makes Kate realize there is more to him than meets the eye.

ANNIE WALKER.
smithsonian // covert affairs.

Although most of Kate's familiarity with Annie comes from what FDR has confided in her, they are friendly and get along rather well. They aren't particularly close but Annie strikes Kate as a tough kind of girl and she likes her.

LANIE PARISH.
gonnasmackyou // castle.

A medical examiner that works with the NYPD, Lanie is Kate's workmate and her best friend. Always the type to offer advice - solicited or otherwise - Lanie is Kate's go-to girl especially when it comes to things of the personal nature. Regardless, Kate even remains guarded when it comes to her personal relationships with Lanie and keeps her at arms length in her usual way, but Lanie always seems to break past those barriers and help guide Kate in the right direction.

GWEN COOPER.
gwenbloodycooper // torchwood.

Her first female friend on the island, Kate and Gwen bonded over their snark, their jobs and their mutual adoration for Ianto (and, on occasion, Jack). Gwen leaving the island was a huge blow to Kate and also helped seed the realism of how easy it was for Atia to take away the people she cares about.

SAMANTHA CARTER.

All Kate knows is that Sam is a force to be reckoned with. Beautiful, intelligent and sassy, she doesn't know Sam well but she knows the type well enough to know that this a woman she wants on her side.

LOKI.
frostedlies // thor.

Loki called the precinct in a panic during a curse, and Kate's welfare check turned into a passionate afternoon of them being cursed together. Loki eventually joined the police force, which was a point of awkwardness on Kate's part.
